Get to Know me
As a toddler, I would often make a mess by pulling out all of our National Geographic magazines and intently studying the photos of animals, people, and faraway places. From a young age, photography was a passion and joy for me, starting with a hand-me-down film camera and eventually moving to a digital SLR in college and beyond. I have always loved capturing things as they are, finding the beauty in everyday moments, people, and places and framing them perfectly to be able to showcase that beauty for others. Over the years I have had experience in photojournalism, event photography, landscape photography, and portraiture. I have been so privileged to have photographed presidents and first ladies, actors and singers, amazing natural beauty, and huge world events. But my favorite subject to photograph is the human: the joys and connections we all have, and the beauty and uniqueness of each individual.
I have dedicated myself to a lifetime of learning and perfecting my art, and would love to share it with you! Each session is carefully planned to match each individual or family so that your story can be told in a beautiful and truthful way, and the best of you and your family can shine through. I love to make our sessions fun, relaxed, and joyful, and to provide you with images that you will not only love and cherish today, but memories and heirlooms that can last a lifetime and be passed down for generations to come.

My expertise as a photographer of over a decade is to guide you and your family, prompt you, and bring out the best in you. Your expertise is to be yourselves!
